Project Manager (Technical) - Custom Solutions

Our Custom Solutions Unit builds software; targeting customer-driven functionality in order to improve the BRYTER product and increase our commercial viability.

We enable the most complex use-cases for customers who are seeking to leverage functionality that doesn't exist in BRYTER today. This is where we need you; to join the team that delivers this capability at scale.

What’s your job?

As a Technical Project Manager in Custom Solutions, you will be part of our remote-first, cross-functional team. The team consists of consultants, designers and software engineers. Together you’ll speak directly with our customers and deliver custom software that extends the capabilities of the BRYTER platform.

You’ll work on delivering a pipeline of integrated software. That means each day is different; one day you might be scoping requirements for an integration to third party application and the next you might be working with quality assurance prior to release. Whatever the project, you'll make sure it's delivered on time, in budget and within scope.

About you

🚀 You plan collaboratively You understand that planning is a collaborative exercise. Whether scoping requirements, prioritising the pipeline or directing work for our developers, you will seek to engage stakeholders in the planning process.

🚀 You are a natural, adaptable organiser You are well practiced in the use of Agile framework methods (Scrum, Kanban). You will use these to make progress explicit and visible to the world around you. When you need to change course, you're not afraid to because you have the evidence to support your decision.

🚀 You love uncharted paths You are comfortable starting with just a rough direction and a vague goal, and then working with others to gain clarity, synthesizing and distilling insights, charting a course, and adapting it vigorously as things become clearer.

🚀 You have real experience with code You understand how software gets built, because you’ve done it. You understand how IDEs source control and continuous integration all contribute to making good products. Perhaps you are even curious about how different programming paradigms get the same thing done.

🚀 You are both customer facing and product focussed You actively listen to a person describe a problem and get creative with a solution. You will understand the technical concepts that support software engineering and seemlessly translate between people who those who don't code and those who do.

Why should you apply?

  • Direct impact on our customer-facing products from day one
  • Colleagues that care about the product and the people who build it
  • We support you in your journey to become the best version of yourself. Not the least by providing challenging work, people around you who you can learn from, as well as a personal conference & training budget
  • BRYTER has a product & business model that’s tried and tested and we’re in the process of scaling our impact, so your impact can scale with us
  • Customers love our product which you’ll have a key role in developing
  • Your work will be shipped – very often
👎 This role may not be for you if you reside outside of CET +/-2h time zones.
